IRP carries the finest brake, clutch and hydraulic components. While these cost a little more than auto store pieces, they more than make up for the difference in fit, performance and reliability. Hawk brake pads are specially designed for the high temperatures generated in racing, as is the AP-550 brake fluid. AP-550 fluid has a boiling point approximately 50 degrees higher than the average fluid. Also, since brake/hydraulic fluids absorb water, we do not recommend buying or using quart or larger size containers, because they will absorb the moisture that condenses in the container.

Tilton is recognized as the leader
in clutches for formula cars. IRP carries Tilton clutches and disks because they
have proven to be highly reliable and trouble-free. We do, however, recommend carrying
a spare disk.
